Pearl Heart Surgery

Organized by Paws in Prison

Pearl Heart
Pearl was found looking for food in a dumpster at a roadside park. Pathetically skinny and dehydrated. I could not pass up this girl, it was heartbreaking. She has blossomed in the Paws in Prison program and is now a healthy 94 pounds of pure love. She has received her Canine Good Citizen award!

Pearl needs surgery desperately for a torn ACL. She is now on pain medication daily, but still has to walk on three legs.

She loves nothing more than to run and play but cannot due to her injury.

Pearl is available for adoption and as soon as we can get her surgery done I am sure she will find a wonderful home.

The Paws in Prison program at the Lockhart prison gets dogs from dog pounds/shelters and brings them into the prison for training/socialization. We have had the pleasure of having 168 dogs come through and be adopted!
